A wonderful place

A great place to stay. Lots of nice walks in the area. Perfect for a few peaceful days.

The cottage was clean and cosy. We loved the little touches like milk and cake on arrival. LOVED the little tin of emergency mending things in the wardrobe too!
We enjoyed the cycle ride to and from Bakewell on the back roads (with some electrickery!) and loved cycling the Monsal Trail and the High Peaks trail (avoid the 548 cycle route loop unless you have fat tyres on a mountain bike!).

Perfect little bolthole for an impromptu honeymoon. Beautiful location with lovely walks. Lovely, clean and comfortable cottage with everything we could possibly need. Easy check in and the eggs, milk and cake were a really thoughtful touch. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely cottage, and a great location. Perfect size for two. Bakewell and Chatsworth nearby. Cake was very tasty.

A lovely cottage in a great quiet location only a few miles from Bakewell. Ideal for just a couple , the cottage had everything you would expect and a great spot for your car if your driving. All the information you want is provided as is information about the National Park. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village. Close to beautiful walks, Magpie Mine, Bakewell and the rest of the Peak District.

We liked our stay in the quiet and scenic village of Sheldon. The cottage is small but suited our needs and the parking was very convenient. I gave it 4 stars on cleanliness only because the laundry area was a bit neglected; otherwise it was quite clean. We had a meal at the local pub which is quite popular; service is friendly.

Enjoyed our stay peaceful village with great walks nearby

Perfect for our two-day stay for the two of us plus dog. The cottage is one-up, one-down but is perfectly kitted out. Great location with great walks from the doorstep and a welcoming pub within a couple of hundred yards. Bakewell is a few minutes away and has everything you need.

We had an amazing time at Jenna's! Great scenery and lovely walks accessible straight from the house, and the milk, cake and eggs waiting for us when we arrived were a lovely touch.

Great location for touring the Peaks and also lots of footpaths on the doorstep to walk the dogs. There is a pub in the hamlet that serves decent pub-grub Tues to Sun. Comfy bed. Worth a visit.

A fabulous few days in the lovely Townend Cottage.

It was just perfect. Excellent location and superbly appointed. Lovely little surprise extras made us feel really welcome.
