The perfect couples retreat, nestled in the Peak District countryside.

Keepers Cottage is a self contained holiday cottage, arranged across one floor and embracing open plan living.

The cottage is dog friendly and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs.

The ponies in the adjacent field are Tilly and Bobbin. They are miniature Shetland ponies.

Arrival Time: 3pm / Departure Time: 10am

Kitchen / Living Area

A traditional tiled floor in the kitchen and living area, creates a wonderful cottage feel and is perfect for muddy boots (and muddy paws!).

The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric cooker/hob, dishwasher, under counter fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a selection of good quality cutlery and kitchenware.

The comfortable living area, containing two reclining chairs with footstools, smart TV and a wood burning stove, is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day out exploring the Peak District.

A basket of logs are supplied during the winter months.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a large king size bed, adorned with soft cosy duvet and white, quality, cotton bed linen.

Two bathsheets and two hand towels are provided for use during your stay.

The bedroom also enjoys plenty of storage space, a TV and hairdryer.

The bathroom is fully tiled and contains a good quality, white bathroom suite with a large walk in sports shower.

Outside Space

The patio area outside Keepers Cottage is the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine, whilst watching our Miniature Shetland Ponies grazing and enjoying views across the peaceful, un-spoilt countryside.

Or take a stroll down to the local village pub and enjoy a selection of real ales and a game of pool.

With off-road parking and only a short drive from the bustling market town of Bakewell and regal spa town of Buxton, Keepers Cottage is an ideal location for discovering the delights of the Peak District.
