Keepers Cottage

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Keepers cottage! The cottage was super clean and had lots of amenities which were very useful. We also loved the complimentary cake 😍. It was very peaceful and we loved listening to the animals just outside the cottage.

I would definitely recommend staying here! The location was perfect too, only an 8 minute drive from the lovely town of bakewell.

Jenna’s cottage was fab - peaceful location with friendly animal neighbours, great views and a super cute cottage. Well located for exploring the Peak District and just 10 minutes away from Bakewell.

where do I start, the cottage is absolutely gorgeous! clean,cute and had absolutely everything and more that you could need for a wonderful break away . The courtyard , the chickens, the ponies everything was just amazing and we cannot wait to be back again .thank you so much , yogi the dog also absolutely loved it , especially the ponies !

This gem does not disappoint! loads of walks around and a great place to come back to after exploring every day.

A lovely cottage in a great location

Great Airbnb in a quite village in the Peak District! It’s a great place to stay to explore the peaks! Highly recommended!

Fabulous stay in a lovely cottage! If you are looking for a nice peaceful place - highly recommend this place. Lovely, comfortable stay. Cottage is situated close to lovely hikes great for us and our four-legged companion. Would definitely return!

Absolutely loved our stay!

Cosy well equipped cottage for two. Plenty of excellent walks in the vicinity. Local pub was very welcoming with good choice of meals. Chatsworth house and gardens within easy reach. We would certainly consider returning.

What a cute and cosy cottage it was we had the best stay, set in the most beautiful setting with different walks all around you, sheldon itself is so quiet and have amazing views, our dog had a great time also having a secure garden, the cottage had everything we needed plus more the lemon cake and the fresh eggs were a great welcoming, jenna was a great host letting us know in advance where the keys will be and location, would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing stay or a walking hoilday we loved it, we will be back to that area again.

Very nice cottage for n Peak District. Thought of just about everything you need and as a nice bonus they have chickens who hatch the tastiest of eggs! Bedroom is dark and comfortable sleeping. Great heat. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Keepers Cottage. Jenna is a really good host. The best lemon cake we have ever had, some eggs and a bottle of milk awaited us in addition to coffee and tea. The place itself is super cozy and the surrounding landscape is simply stunning. We were also happy about the DVDs of which we watched a couple during our stay.
We can fully recommend staying at Keepers Cottage, it was simply perfect.

Lovely little cottage, perfect for a couple and their dog, in a lovely spot. The little patio area was lovely for the dog, although we had to keep an eye as he found the chickens a bit tempting! It was a lovely base for exploring the area, nice and close to Bakewell and the Monsal trail. The only downside we found was that the Wi-Fi was a bit flaky, but having said that, we'd quite happily return, and hope to do so.

This cottage was absolutely wonderful. So many little extras that just made the stay so special. Location is amazing. We had some fantastic walks and could easily route to some of the busier places in the peaks. We loved it so much we are already looking to book here again next year!

It’s a really lovely location - great use as base for walks. Local pub is nice (ignore the recent reviews about the bar maid). It’s very cosy - would be nice in the summer because you’d have more room to eat on the patio area.

Beautiful cottage, has everything you need for a peaceful few days away. Jenna really has thought of everything and loved the added touch of fresh eggs, milk and cake. The viewing are stunning, even in the snow 🤣

Fantastic 6 nights stay in the comfortable, cosy cottage in the middle and the wilderness. Very quiet, good location, log burner, fully functional kitchen and many small touches, which made us feel like at home. Highly recommended!
